Balance Buddy Support

You set the limits. Your buddy holds the key. When you want extra time, you send your buddy a link from the app and they approve or decline. If they say yes, your protected apps open for 15 minutes, 30 minutes or 1 hour, then lock again by themselves.

Common questions

How do I connect a buddy? Open the Buddy tab and tap Invite Buddy. Send the link any way you like. Your buddy confirms their email and creates a 4 digit PIN.
My buddy opened the link on a different browser. They type their PIN to answer. If they forgot it, the page emails them a reset code.
My buddy said yes but nothing unlocked. Open Balance Buddy. It collects the answer as soon as it is in front.
What is Buddy Lock? An optional setting that stops apps being deleted, so Balance Buddy cannot simply be removed. Apple applies this to every app on the phone. Turning it off needs your buddy's yes.
Can I change my buddy? Yes, but your current buddy has to approve it with their PIN. This is on purpose, so a buddy cannot be swapped out in a weak moment.
